A stone inscription by the temple in Brahmin scripture says the drip-ledged cave behind the temple was donated to a priest called Brahmadatta by Tissa, a provincial leader in Badulla.

Adisham Hall, or Adisham Bungalow is a country house near Haputale, in the Badulla District, Sri Lanka. At present, it houses the Adisham monastery of Saint Benedict. It has a relic (a chip of a bone) of St. Sylvester at the chapel.

Sri Kadiravelayutha Swami Kovil is one of the oldest Hindu shrines in the area and lies amidst a misty and panoramic view of the Haputale hills by the side of the Beragala — Haputale main road in Haputale in the Badulla district.

Lanka Ella Fall is one of the few waterfalls unspoiled by the human activity due to the location. This falls lies about 1 km away from the Bambarakanda Falls and is accessible only by foot.

A main attraction of the Urumaya Paasi Ella Village is the Aluthwela village Paasi Ella Waterfall. It is located 5 kms away from the centre of the village. Bogahapelessa Forest Reserve is home to many endemic flora and fauna.

The Horton Plains plateau comes to a sudden end at World’s End, a stunning escarpment that plunges 880m. The walk here is 4km, but the trail then loops back to Baker’s Falls (2km) and continues back to the entrance (another 3.5km).

The beautiful nine arches make it a very picturesque spot especially as it is located in a dense jungle and agricultural setting.
